Everytime I price a custom exhaust I end up coming up with the same price you would pay for a regular cat-back. I say go with an "overpriced" exhaust.
Custom allows you to completely get rid of any bottlenecks in the factory system.
Where can you get a true 2.5" cat back for your hybrid? Only custom.

custom, no bottle necks, no weird bends, what ever muffler you want, and a high flow cat (same size) at the same time. I got one, and did not even put a shiny muffler/tip on it. I think it looks cool, but some one one gave me a Mugen Twin loop look alike for christmas, Ima put that on with no tip. Luckily foro me it is the saem size as what I have.

A bit more than a comparable full stainless custom system.
Every custom job I've seen never looks good. I always see crooked welds on the hangers and not once have I seen a DTM muffler look striaght, always tipped/leaning to one side.
Every name brand exhaust I've installed has fit perfect in every way. I've installed Mugen, DC Sports, GReddy, Tanabe, Thermal, and APEXi.

I had a custom exhaust...it wasnt mandrel bent , but 2.5" piping...I'd stick to a name brand for a cat back (apexi world sport or N1). My custom exhaust actually made me slower, I put a stock si exhaust on and I was faster...cant wait to see what an apexi N1 will do for it.

I got my exhaust 2 inch custom mandral bent by the best mechanic I have ever met.. and i will gurantee it is as good if not better than any after market name brand exhaust out there.. and yes.. this includes mugen or spoon..
Edit: I do have a Greedy double resonator on there.. forgot about that! haha
