JG Edelbrock manifold vs. Skunk2 (tell me which you prefer)
well for which motor seires and what type of motor(na/turbo?)
be more specife if you want good answer or what you will get is an answer like:
"i would go with skunk"
and not give reasoning to why. I'll comment when you be more specific

For right now I would go with the SK2, they work better for NA purposes... When you decide to boost then I would swap it... Just depends on how long you are gonna be waiting i guess.... Good Luck
i like the skunk for all motor
someone actually had a built all motor car and lost power over teh stock itr manifold and the jg
id go with the skunk but it all depends on your wait

kinda off, but still about the skunk IM...
Is the Skunk2 Intake Manifold a very close (exact) replica of the ITR manifold..or is just look like it with bored inside??? Actually, to make it easy...Does the Skunk2 IM have a bigger bore the the stock ITR???

yeah, but not everyone drives around from 7000-10000rpms...look at dynos..the intake manifold loses power from anything below 7000 compared to a STOCK gsr manifold. something to think about. I chose the skunk2 on my turbo teg due to the fact that it gives lots of midrange torque..and that's where I do 90% of my driving
Well, here's my opinion if its worth anything.
I have no experience with manifolds yet, but judging from farnsrocket's picture, the JG edelbrock would be my choice because it looks beefier, looks like it has bigger runners, and a bigger plenum. But of course I chose that for FI
BTW, farnsrocket: Did you get that rug/carpet from wal-mizart? hahaha, I got the same rug sitting in my living room. Hey, I am half way there, I got the same carpet, now I just need the manifolds....hahahaha

Everything I have read says the JG is better for FI. I haven't seen any hard proof on a dyno with it yet, though I thought somebody posted some JG dyno stuff somewhere. I would think the larger size would be better.
Ha, ha!!!! It was actually my grandmothers rug....it it an old rug 10'x8', but who knows, maybe she got it at Walmart!

Here's a good article on the Victor X manifold:

the turboed GSR picks 41.5 hp @7500 rpm!

we use the jg victor x intake manifolds and they work great on our N/A motors. it has a much larger plennum then the sk2. we have it on a type r motor with stock compression but a full race top end and the vicotr x manifold. it runs the 1320 in 12.1 @109mph at 1950lbs with driver. id go with the JG. thats just my 2 cents.
I went with skunk2, the only thing that I don't like is that now my stock strut tower bar won't fit because it sits so high....shrug small sacrifice
