seems like everyone is getting in to the mount business......

be ware of off brands....as they may not be around when one of those mounts breaks/needs servicing

HCP =
You can find them for under $400 some places anyhow.

Multiple motors, unsprung clutch disks, vicious beatings,
and still holding strong at 10psi

Yeah, i just got them in my crx. I had the old place racing ones but it made the motor sit too foward and it made my axels have a big angle. I got a set of Totems and they fixed that problem. i dont have much of a angle anymore. Plus i think i can fit a 4:1 header without notching the crossmember.. im not sure yet though. They are good mounts, life time warrenty.

I beg to differ with regards to being off brand or the lack of quality.

I've seen/used these mounts (Totem) and find the quality to be much better looking than HCP or any other "off brand" products. The fitment was much easier than others including the all mighty Hasport mounts (1st gen mounts, never tried the billet ones yet)

Sorry, not to bash Hasport, but from what I've heard they were once part of the "off brand" category. I must say their mounts look amazing now especially the billet ones. They've come a long way from just one set of mounts.

That's kind of funny to hear. I think HCP has been around longer than HASport so why would anyone refer to them as an off brand? They are better IMO than the HASport kit because they sit the engine closer to the firewall = more foom for turbo or 4-1 header. You also get a front mount included in the kit which is an extra item from HASport. Granted the HASport is a very straightforward install in comparison, bu if you can read and follow directions then the HCP should be just fine.

i am getting totem mounts from young (owner) for doing some art work for him. They are useless to me since i already have a mount kit, but im anxious to inspect them and see how good the quality is. they do look like a copy of a kit.. oh well ill probably end up giving them away or something.

I'm sure you'll be more than happy with the quality... Eventhough everybody may think they're copies... They're much better in quality as the designs are somewhat improved.
