it doesn't offend me at all. and no problem.

i don't know the details, but if other people honestly saw it... then nice job. but you've got to admit it's hard to believe.

but touche if your car did indeed hit 13's

Edit: My IM's never seem to work right. I just got your name and a blank screen.

While I agree driver is an important variable....I think the track does too. You're probably not going to pull the same times at a track around here. Props to ur time. I'm not gonna "doubt" ur times...why would I care if ur lying. I try not to guage my times versus other peoples' times on the internet from different areas, tracks, blah blah.....i gauge my times versus other people at the track i'm racing at (assuming they tell the truth about their mods...cuz i've met several stunnaz that like to lie).

back to the subject at hand.. eg with a gsr motor and bolt ons should run mid 13s with a good driver and some slicks no problem. weve done swaps for alot of cars that run the same numbers with a simple swap.

It's possible because my friend ran a 13.00 with a bone stock Type R motor in a EG hatch on 22x8x15 slicks.

Not this argument again.

Those are nice times and ver possible times too. 2.1 60ft is really good. RK used to get 2.2 all the time on his VX wheels(13") and those 4 for $100 tires.

I used to be skeptical but now I don't really care. I have people telling me that they have a mid-14s car, and I end up beating them. My best so far was 15.9s w/ 2.5 60ft. I stopped caring to launch my car because it doesn't hook up and I don't see the point of wasting my clutch to compensate for my bald tires. The people I race always has at least a car length on me when I race(including the supposed mid-14s car) yet in 2nd and 3rd gear, my car is pulling on them.

IT ALSO MATTERS A LOT ON WHICH TRACK YOU RACE ON! I'm betting that this hatch and that other 13s prelude can't repeat its feat at LACR(palmdale). But on the other tracks, I believe ya.

Chris,
Its not bs, that sounds about right. Get some slicks on there and you should be seeing mid 13's easy.

eg, gsr motor, intake/header ran 14.1 @ palmdale on 20x8x14s. That's what...a 13.66 sea level. If only I could get a high 1.8 60 ft

its possible

here is itr motor and tranny with spec B toda's 13.1 @ 103mph

I belive you my cousin hit a 13.8 too and all he had was a stock gsr in a eg is only bolton was intake and exhaust on 14's too, but his car was pretty stripped too I'm guessing 2100, but of course it's all about the driver

If you ask me that seems slow especially with a 2.1 60'.

Edit: went and did some math and that seem about right. It seems to me that most B18C hatches should be in the 13's. Whats the problem?

Best time 13.12@107mph with a blown motor shooting oil out the pvc valve. I blew the motor 2 days before the event still went racing and got 6th placec hehe. That was also the last day the hatchback saw the streets.

Street Tires
STock b18b
310 rc injectors
12:1 FMU
AEM Fuel Rail
B&M Fuel Pressure Reg.
SFC Fuel Controller

New setup CRX.

If your lude ran a 13.7 with minor bolt ons, someone must have biult it before you bought it. I know people supercharged, and turbo, not even runin that good. Not saying you didnt but it just doesnt sound right.

it was never built...when i first got it...my best time with i/h/e was 14.6 at like 95 almost 96 mph...then i added cam gears, vafc, chipped ecu....and ever since then its gotten much stronger...i was running 14.0 @ 101 for a while...having horrible traction probles going into second, my launches were great, but hitting second the car jerked and spun all over the place....also when i had i/h/e...i ran a 75 shot of nitrous and ran 13.7.....but the kit was never really set up right..didnt change plugs ect, i do know that i went from running 14.3 with my DC header to 14.1 and 14.0 when i switched to the greddy SS one, it also gave me almost 3 mph...so id say the dc is crap.....and no my track isnt weird...when u compare times of other cars there, it right what most people run across the country...civic hatches with b18c running 13...camaro SS and firebirds running lower 13s stock...ive yet to meet a lude at the track who can even stay somewhat close...im meeting a guy with a 5th gen JRSC one, were gonna run 4 or so times, have it filmed at the track....there are people here with accords with built h22s..one has pistonss in it, the other has skunk stage 2 cams, and i blow the one with skunk cams doors off, my freinds 4 door accord, hes running 11.5 to 1 comp...his best is 14.0...but he did run a 13.4 with a 75 shot when he only had i/h/e....were usually a good race, if we run from a roll, were even in third, but when i hit 4th, i pull away...4th gear is also unusually strong, most of the people here dont understand...but i dont know what to tell them, i also feel that im a very above average driver....peace

Jay Kim
Palmdale is also corrected at about 4-5 tenths a 14.2 at palmdale would be a 13.70 roughly at most sea level tracks.

My track is higher than palmdale and I run a 14.0@97.7.....at close to 3000ft. So roughly a 13.60-13.70 on BFG drag radials, intake and open header in an EK.
(00 B18C5, Si ecu, intake, shitty header, drag radials)

Looking to hit 13.50's (12.90's@ sea level) here with a DC JDM 4-1, 98 ITR ecu, Toda cam gears, VAFC.

EG's and EK's with 155-175whp should run in the 13's with traction with a decent driver.

The problem is tires and conditions along with drivers that keep swapped hatch's in the 14's. People say things cant be done till you do them...which is exactly why I am still on stock cams, internals, tranny, head (except the gears for tuning).

I will drive as hard as I can to run the I/H/Cam gears/VAFC setup into the 12's....I may need slicks but I will try drag radials first if I get close enough then slicks.
