Who has boosted H series with F22 tranny?
longer gears myth once again. stick with your current tranny.
the shorter gearing will allow you to accelerate quicker. get into the power band much sooner.
i'm running an itr tranny with a 4.4 final drive on my fully built 2.0l b series motor at 15-20psi. love it.

i need to get a tial wastegate, a 2 pound spring, and a greddy prolific with the steering wheel button. i cant get any traction what so ever. this **** sucks. my car gets a 2.6 0-60foot... wtf is that!
2.0 is not bad on street tires. And if traction is that important to you then you should get a gear based boost controller, LSD tranny, and stickier tires..

buy an lsd and get some quality tires.
if you think you're losing traction at 7psi, 10+psi is ridiculous.
you have to learn how to handle the power, it takes time. you need more practice. 2.6 even boosted is horrible on street tires. you should at least be doing the same as when you were n/a or better. bogging off the line will get you better times then 2.6 at the 60foot mark.
i ran two 2.3 60 foot times with my old h22a boosted accord at 10psi.
i don't recommend an electronic boost controller unless you're running 10+psi. it's a waste at the lower boost levels.

who has a gear based boost controller? i have 18" with falken 35 series thats why my traction blows. before turbo i had 2.0 0-60 foot time.

Most times a turbo car will have a much broader powerband than the same car N/A. The stock H22 trans has very short gears to accomodate the relatively narrow powerband of the stock H22 motor. The IDEAL gearing for any car will allow you to shift where the power begins to drop off and put you back at a RPM where the motor begins to make good power again. On a turbo car this may be as low as 4000 RPM. The stock H22 gearing will usually put you between 5-6K RPM if you shift at the stock 7500RPM redline. F22 gearing will put you between 4300-5200 RPM, depending on which gear you are in.
When using a F22 trans, not only will you be taking advantage of the broad powerband of your turbo H22, but you will also have less traction issues.

i'm gettin the AEM EMS with the built in boost controller, with the new software, it now has a step boost feature, it will run lower boost in 1st, or 1st ans 2nd, or whatever, then it will increase the boost level once you get up to speed
ive heard that with F22 tranny the longer gear ratio that it can get up to 170 with aerodynamics ..dunno if its true just what ive heard...of course rev limit would have to be changed but yea this true ?

I don't think I would want to go 180 in my Prelude anyway.
