Ingalls camber kit install: I have a bad feeling I paid too much!
Well, I broke down and had my local shop put my Ingalls kit on my car. The bad thing is that they charged me 180 in labor! They said it would take 3 hours. I thought that seemed like a long time to install them. But then I thought that maybe they had to take it off the alignment machine everytime they want to make an adjustment. Could that be the case?
damn you actually paid someone to put your camber kit on, took me like an hour to put my front on, then for the back took like 20 minutes i just used a nickel thick washer beetween the uppercontrol arm and the body and then i drove it up to the shop and got it aligned, they reamed your *** dude,sorry....but at least your car wont chew up tires anymore.......
I was going to, but I don't have a floor jack. I hate having to jack it up with the emergency jack. Also, I wasn't terribly sure how the darn things were suppossed to go on and how I was suppossed to get them to stay in one place. On top of that, I wasn't sure if the mechanics had to undo them anyway to adjust them. I just wasn't sure how it was suppossed to work. Oh well. At least when I get my new wheels and tires, I won't be eating them up.
hey...it all happend to us before(well...some of us...) paying a bit too much for installing something and feeling like you paid a tad too much...i hate that feeling~
Yeah.. happens to us all. I have tons of those stories from when I first got into cars (and yes, they still bug me too).. live and learn right?
