Default Why doesn't my timing belt fit?

Ok guys here is the situation i am in. I have done 2 timing belt installes just to let you know. Well, I have a stock 91 integra motor i am building up. I bought a oem integra timing belt to put it on....and well I wrapped the timing belt around the cam gears, waterpump, crank sprocket then tried to wrap around the tensioner and it didn't fit. I loosend the tensioner bolt too. Everything is in timing and there is no slack anywhere. It barely fits. Is there anyway that my tensioner is differen't size because i bought it from someone that said it was from a b-series... so i am thinking if it's from a b-series vtec motor then its probably bigger. Im also using a Chilton manual to help me do this. Please help.

call honda
ask for 2 part numbers
1) your stock timing belt tensioner
2) a GSR or any b series (94+) timing belt tensioner

if the part numbers are diffrent, you have a problem.

tensioner should wrap around second, after crank gear, then tensioner, then w.p, then cam gears

sometimes turning the crank (with the belt in place already) a little, you can free up a little tension on the belt.

Well i found out what it was guys. When i bought my block from someone they upgraded the waterpump to a P72 GSR Waterpump so i had to buy a P72 GSR timing belt. Thanks for all your input guys!
