lug nuts for rota's
stock lugs will not work. You need "tuner style" lugs rather than the stock "accorn" lugs. I use gorilla locking lugs from jc witney (30 bucks) and they work great. They are black and fit perfect.

My understanding on the matter is that in the 12 x 1.5 size (most honda's), there are 2 different styles of lug nuts.
First, there are the "acorn" style lugs that fit the OEM wheels. These should only be used with OEM Honda wheels.
Second, there are the "tapered" or "tuner" style lugs that should fit most aftermarket wheels. They go from about $30 for a set up to $130. Spoon, Volk/Rays, Skunk, Gorilla, McGard Spline Drive....there are all different kinds. As far as I know, they are all tapered/tuner style, except the grey Spoons that are "acorn"
You should inquire from the place you purchase the wheels from. I am ordering a set of Slipstreams for my teg and will purchase a set of lugs along with them.
Good luck amigo.......

i got my "tuner style" lugs for my slips free from Discount tire. they realized that i needed the different kind of "seat" for where the lug meets the wheel so they just gave me a set of the lugs i needed (i guess because i kind of know the guys that work there, and i had just purchased a gorilla lock set a few days ago). pretty good deal....and i've got all the original lug nuts that i don't know what to do with...the only thing is that all of mine are crome and i've got black slips...
oh well...guess there's a time and there's money for everything in turn.
