Hartford's Cavalier on ebay
I wonder why they selling?
Maybe they are selling it because it wont conform to the new rules?
I dont know the rulebook well enough to say, but that is a potential reason, seeing as how the rules have had a 'bit' of an overhaul this year.
Maybe they want to have a car in a class that gets a different sort of attention.... ?

its not his car its lingenfelters car. LPE is who is selling it matt hartford started his own team and just signed a deal with summit. i could imagine that LPE is selling it because of the rule changes and other issues.

hummmm. there is a brand new chevy team coming out this year. PRO FWD also. Don Ness chassis, etc, etc. anyone esle confirm this? I really want to know who it is. They did some shake down testing last weekend in the west somewhere. Heard it ran some impressive numbers.........anyone see anything wierd at Don Ness Racecars lately?
I think they are selling it because it doesn't conform to the 2003 NHRA modified rules anymore. Apparently the way it sits, it can only be run in the pro rwd class for 2003 and a 7.67 @179mph won't cut it in that class.
In the description it says it would need modifications to the firewall, front suspension, and bell housing areas in order to fit back in the modified class. IMO
