Default oil pan gasket

yes, i know, Honda does not sell an oil pan gasket for our cars, but the damn RTV isn't sealing up and i keep getting leaks, anyone know of something better than Hondabond

Better than Hondabond? I use that stuff on my nitrous kits and it holds 1000 psi no problem. . Did you let it dry before filling it up with oil? Try some caulk, or if all else fails JB weld.

What do you mean Honda does not sell oil pan gaskets for our cars? I have definitely bought one from a Honda dealer......

woohoo..... i called my local carquest, and told them i needed a gasket for a 94 Prelude Si na dhtye had one, so it works. they did tell me that they don't have a gasket for the H22A4, i guess it's b/c the oil pan is cast aluminum instead of stamped out

There is a small concave (quarter moon shaped) oil pan gasket by the flywheel on the H22A4. The rest is suppose to be Hondabond.

I am getting leaks from my oil pan gasket, but i don't know which one to buy. I have a 92 jdm h22. Should i just get one from a 93-96 h22 from the honda dealer?
