my favortive honda is the 94-97 2dr accord. thats want i really wanted but they are like 10 grand! but its like only 10 out of 100 is a stick . i have 3 sticks inmy life 2 at HIN and one at foot loker in NYC

you are gonna have to search for a while to find the car you want, it took me six months and I had to drive 2 hours to get it

Same here, except around 2 months and 1 hour away.

 

Nothing worth having is ever easy...

Even here in LA, it took me over 2 months of daily paper checking to find the right...

1) one owner car
2) great price
3) 4dr/5spd configuration & garaged paint/interior condition
4) trim level - EX - vtec, 4wheel disc brakes, mnroof, sways
5) J-VIN & color (silver-blue)

and that's in SoCal...I had to buy it the DAY it came out in the paper...i had 3 other ppl behind me that day....ha

 

Me too, i had to look around 5 dealer in 5 month time interval to find a 2 door 5 speed, with the right color and interior. Just wait and keep looking. You'll get the car you want. Patience is virtue.

 

Yeah my friend has an accord pretty much exact same as yours, he was on 3 different 3-month waiting lists at dealerships for it..

 

Took me less than a week to find my 97 5spd sedan, but then again that was back in 1998. The 5spd coupes are easier to come by than the 5spd sedans.

 

Exactly. I searched all along last summer for a deal on a 5 speed sedan 94-95, saw only one, and was too late for it.

I gave up, kept my 95 Ex auto, and swapped the tranny to a manual instead. Never looked back since then...

 

I waited 10 days to get my car, and that was brand new from a dealer. drk green, EX coupe, with leather and 5-spd.

Honda (and most other car makers) build a small percentage of 5-speed cars because they sell so few of them. Only about 30% of americans can drive stick to begin with, not all of them WANT a stick, and hardly any of those will refuse to buy a car just because its an auto.

Since were are discussing ratios here,...lets discuss the ratio of kids in school that dont pass basic english/grammer and have to repeat the class in summer and/or have to go to the remedial classes?

Damn i just came up on mine. Had a current project going with a 91 civic HB and had mad plans for it but i came up on this deal....94 EX 2 door 5 speed accord. Got it dirt cheap because a limb feel on it and put a dent in the roof and busted the back glass out. And when i say dirt cheap i mean DIRT CHEAP.....i couldnt sleep on this deal.

 

What's the point? Am I missing something?

you should fix it and then turn around and sell it. More $$$ for your civic project...
