I'll have my turbo kit in by the summer. I like to have a little "show" with my "go" but I wouldn't consider myself a ricer. But I agree, those who are, will be out in full force by mid July and then all of us who can drive need to be extra careful.

 

it's sad that a simple movie will (yet again) make me fear being on the road....

 

IF you're talking about hte car at the end that gets squashed, watch again. That's a Saleen Mustang, not a skyline, and I think they should do that to all mustangs

 

yeah, i almost spit my OJ everywhere when i saw that mustang trying to be a hero and get crushed. I think what he's referring to when he says "how could they do that..." its cause the Skylines are...(holds back eminent vomit).. APC sponsored. biiiiiig APC lettering accross all three of them.

 

ooooohhhhhh lol. Actually, I didn't notice that, but now that you mention it, if I had the skyline with APC on it, i'd gladly use it in place of the mustang

Damn that mustang got FUCKED up! Just what it deserves

Yes, the movie has stereotyped "us" as having rice rockets with big wings and graphics on the sides of our cars. But it has also given the imports a newly found respect, people that gave me **** about working on a honda before saw this movie and all of a sudden they were like "wow i didnt really know you could make a 4cyl that fast." Sure it has brought about a new group of ricers and stupid ugly trends, but its a ******* movie. When you guys saw the movie RAD how many of you went out on your bikes and tried to do all the stunts you saw in the opening scenes? Gay or not, im going to see the movie because its import/race related and im sure the percentage of you all will go see it as well. Maybe ill even put a huge *** APC decal on my car! haha

 

yeah, it's rice or whatever, but big ******* deal, you better believe i'm gonna be there the night it comes out. i just wanna see the cars..... besides that, i'm gonna LOVE dustin the ****** ricers afterwards my new liscense plate says "PREYLUDE" i am think of getting "...eating ricer for breakfast." just under it in vinyl letters just below it.

 

even though those "New ricers" will pop up all over the continental united states, it is clear that alot of companies also have alot riding on this movies as well. its basically the same thing with gran turismo aspec- what happens is that kids and teens play the game and realize how damn sweet the cars are, and now the mitsubishi evo viii and nissan skyline are coming to the U.S. because of it. So you can bet the same thing will happen with the movie and possibly alot better parts will be imported as well.

 

i dont' forsee the average "kid" to have a new Skyline (which shouldn't even be called a Skyline) or the EVO VII

 

Or the ricers will just put a big wing on their lancer O.Z. and some stickers that say Evo VII

What gay is that "NOS" was used in the first movie and then became pretty played and riced out. So i decided that IF I used nitrous one day(after turbo), I would use the Nitrous Express system(75 shot) because I've heard good things about it. Now they are using Nitrous Express in "2 Fast 2 Furious" (what a gay name) and they even have the fast and the furious 2 NX system coming out.. I don't want to look like a FATF wannabe
