Enough Room? Any H22 EK Engine bay pics?
Well I'm near the point of abandoning the b18c turbo project. First the costs are going to negate the point of getting a cheap civic while I aquire a weee bit more funds to get a slow E46 bmw. I like the H22 idea, I understand the challenges of the mounts , but can someone post some pics of the fitment in the EK?
Thanks
Thanks
Not cheap when you figure in the price of mounts and axles and all the other misc. crap you need for the swap. But still a kick *** swap.

The darker color Civic with silver valve cover is a 98 Civic. In an EK, there's more room in the engine bay compared to the 92-95 Civics. The cost of the H22 swap is anywhere from $1000-$1500 cheaper than a B18C swap, but factor in a $400 mount kit, misc parts and axles needed, wiring (if you plan to run an OBD-1 motor and setup) and new parts (clutch, pumps, belts, fluids), then you could be looking to add that an extra $500-$1500 back on, depending on where you find the stuff and who does the labor, if any.
