does anybody on here have a diagram of how the drivers side lock cylinder goes into place on a 89 civic hatch? thanks

This is for the crx, but it should be the same pretty much.

 

if you have a specific question, let me know as i just took apart a door handle to sell the parts...

 

the specific question i have is how does the lock cylinder stay in the doorhandle and which of the metal bars hooks to where. i plan on installing the lock cylinder today so any help would be appreciated and thanks for the quick replys

 

there is a small clip that holds the lock cylinder to the door handle. you should see two "slots" in the door handle for the clip to rest in.

as for the metal bars go, the lengths on them are different, (if i remember correctly), so you should be able to see where they go.

 

what if my lock cylinders have been bashed in with a screw driver would that **** up those clips??

 

i'd get a new clip in that case b/c i bet the clip got bent or broken.
