Default Want a ZC in my CRX Si --- Have some questions about the swap

Couple questions, please forgive my noobness.
1. Do some ZC's have VTEC? If so, would a vtec ZC change the install for a CRX in any way? (Is there a difference in power with the VTEC? Let me know what YOU think of the two)

2. If I put a ZC in a CRX Si, is it true that I can just keep the stock tranny, ecu, and axle? Is it true that the stock Si tranny will let the car be quicker than a zc tranny, because of the gearing? Also, would a stock SI tranny have trouble dealing with the ZC engine?

3. Where can I buy a ZC from? Anyone know of a good, reliable online seller, that ships to canada? How much am I looking at, roughly? What would be too much to pay for a ZC?

4. Is there any way the seller can prove that the engine has only as many miles as he claims it does? Is the only way to tell by looking at the general condition of the engine? If the seller claims "it passed compression tests" is that just a dodgy way of making it SOUND like it's in good working order?

Thanks in advance

p.s. sorry for double posting this.

I'll make you a deal, I'll answer your questions but never just ask questions again, please search first. These have been answered multiple times, this week. Ok,

1. Yes there are two different kind of ZCs a Single overhead cam VTEC and a Dual Overhead Cam nonvtec. The SOHC Vtec puts out roughly 120HP the DOHC puts out 130HP. You CRX was designed for D series engines so either one will go right in. However, you will have to add in some little RPM controlled switch to switch VTEC on at the right time if you go with the SOHC.

Yes you can use your D series tranny. Both trannies have their own uniqueness in gearing. One has better low gears, the other has a better final drive. You can make a hybrid tranny that would be the best. Your stock Si trans will love your ZC engine. If you use your si tranny you can use your si axles.

YOU LIVE IN CANADA, I'm guessing the best place would be osaka. http://www.osakajdmmotors.com/ They are in quebec, I hear canada is pretty big so you might not be close to them. Long block goes for around $750 shipped here.

The engine is going to be 10-13 years old, its had the **** beat out of it, expect it. If you can get comrpession numbers and a gurantee that they are correct that'd be nice but it's not going to happen. Engines are pretty tough, just replace the common components when you get it, timing belt, water pump, gaskets, seals.

READ THIS ENTIRE SITE: ZC for Dummies, No joke very good site

Depending on what CRX you have you can kind of use your ECU. If you get the DOHC you can run the SI ecu but its not as aggressive. You should get the PG7 88-89 Integra ecu for this.

I honestly did do a search, and I browsed through all the ZC topics, couldnt find any that answered my questions clearly.

I have run both the DX,Si trans and ZC trans on my car, you can bareley notice a difference between the Si and ZC, except the ZC has no torque steer. The DX sucks and anyone who is thinking about using it needs their *** kicked. You will hate it. The Si ECU will work but is the worst one. Teg is second best and the Best being the ZC ECU. A true ZC ECU will have a 112mph limiter programmed into it. But the fuel maps are perfect. And that matters palces that have strict Emissions testing since the TEG ecu runs rich in places. I paid $100 for my JDM ZC ECU. THey aren't easy to find so you may have to settle for the TEG. or get either the Si or TEG ecu chipped with the ZC maps and not have a limiter.
