Does anyone have a link or does anyone know what three wires need to be ran for vtec. I did a search but didnt come up with any usful info. I am putting a b16a head on my car tomorow and need this info so any help would be nice. Thanks.

1 for vtec solenoid(A8), 1 for 2nd O2 (C8), 1 for vtec oil pressure sensor (B5), 1 for knock sensor (B19) *B16 ECU

 

I currently only have one O2 sensor what do I do about the second???

 

splice it!

 

you have to run another wire (c8) and connect it to a 2nd O2, to which you need to get another bung drilled to your exhaust manifold or header or you'll get a code....You can also get your ECU chipped to omit 2nd O2...

 

Will spliceing it work?????

get a mugen chipped ecu -deletes 2nd o2 and knock sensor

 

Alright guys I just got done doing my head swap and when I did the vtec wiring I dindnt even run the second o2 sensor and Im not even throwing a code for it. I think Ill leave it this way. I am however throwing knock sensor ovcorse since I dont have a knock sensor and Im for some reason throwing map sensor. This I have to look into a little further. Thanks however for your imput on how to do this.
