What exactly will fit a b16 off of a b18????? would the distributor work for both?????how bout flywheel and clutch??????? exhuast manifold??? all that good stuff

 

b18b or b18c?

for b18c -- pretty much everything is compatible with eachother. it's basically a destroked b16

for b18b -- pistons, rods, crank, tranny that kinda stuff.

which model b16 as well? the b16a1 is pre-obd which means the distributor would definately not work on an obd motor

 

alrigth its a B18A1 pre OBD engine and the other engine is a B16A. which is another pre OBD engine. so what will work?????? and another question. if i where to put all the B18a1s internals (aka crank and rods) and kept the b16 pistons would i break sumthin or jus a get a lot more torque with the same amount of Hp??????

B18A and B16A have compatible parts. But I seriously doubt you would get any more power putting the B18A internals into the B16, unless you were to put the b16 head on the b18a. that's about it.

 

im not usin the internals im jus tryin to peice together my b16 with b18 parts. i have all the b16 internals already i jus need externals and so far everything i got off the b18 fit the b16. i jus need to know will the distributor work being that they both are pre OBD. i jus need to know stuff like that external wise. so anyone know that answer???
