B&M shifter $59 from summit--> Good or?
The B&M shifters...are they worth the money? I think their are 2 different kinds you can get. I don't think I want to spend over $100 for one. Anyone have dealings with a B&M?
the B&M shifters are pretty nice. When selecting short shifters remember one thing. Dont buy an aluminum one. They break. In my opinion few short shifters feel as good as an OEM honda piece.
sure, why not? almost anythign is better than stock.

B&M are one of the best.....I want one for my car but they are in the $250 range. Supposedly from the feedback of other B&M users....it has a really soild feel and durastically (sp?) shortens the long stock throw.
i wanted one but i do prefer stock..THe B&M is billet and strong. This is a lil off subject but i have a B&M mega shifter(auto ratchet shifter) in my camaro and that thing is tough as nails. Im support B&M products. The skunk 2 one my bud had in his car was nice too

guys that's just crazy, i would never pay that much for a short shifter, just get one off ebay, there is no reason to spend more thna 25 bucks ona short shifter, hell you can make one if you know how to weld, all it is is a small amount of lengthening after the pivot point on the bottom half of the shifter, some of them also have some metal taken off the top of the shifter, But seriously B&M is a rip off get an e-bay version, i've had mine now for 6 months and no problems out of it!
ok 1st i would not pay anywhere close to 100. i think i got mine for liek 15 or 20. its a no name whatever, but its red and looks cool, and is a integra like i wanted, and seems to work fine. its shorter then stock but not super short where its bad for your trans.
if i were you and you wanted something really good, B&M sounds great, or even nuspeed is dope!!! and really short. but if you dont have crazy money, i would just get a cheap one or stay with stock, but if you do want something a little better then stock, get a cheap one and a nuspeed shift bushing for like 15.

B&M makes 2 versions of the shifter for honda/acuras. One is the normal ole shifter that has a decreased length on the bottom end. The other is a whole assembly that replaces the shifter bushing and mount with a nice billit piece that is super slick. The only slack in my shifter is from the stock bushings and shifter mount. THe B&M would be a nice piece to replace that, but it isn't $50 either.

I have a 240SX (or Silvia in Japan hence the name as pointed out above). But yeah....the C's and B&M are the best out there for my car. They are in the $250 range, but can be found in GB or on sale for around $230 or so *not much different). This is better than the NISMO one which is rediculous as well as the other JDM ones. Oh well......looks like i'll be saving for a while just for a damn Short Shifter.
