5 k for full insurance??
the blame was on you for that last accident right?
how old are you and what car/year you drive?

I have an accident before, my insurance raised to 1500 somthing..
then i got my 02 accord coupe new.
about 1400-1500 for the cheapest insurance.
but I am 17 male in SoCal(SGV) that's why it's like that..

18 year old male, Seattle WA. 94 Accord EX Sedan (airbag, good student, and alarm discount). $180 a month ($2160 a year). Got into an accident 3/7/00. Three years after that date, I get it taken off my record. My insurance just dropped $20 a month this year. One more year, and I'll be better.

Insurance still owns me! I work 16 hours a week, and most of my money goes to pay insurance. Something I never really see. I just get to drive on the road legally. Damnit! This is gay!

i'm under my dad's insurence, and my insurence is sky high. i think we pay like somewhere around 5 grand/year. i was dropped from my other insurence, i think it was when my dad was in korea for a while and we totally forgot about the insurence. so we are under allstate and because of being dropped, our rates are high. and plus i got a ticket for not having my seatbelt on, so they felt that i was a high risk driver. i'm 18 and live in new york.

i don't know exactly because it's just taken out of my paycheck from the army. it's under 100$ for full coverage through state farm. i'm 19/male, good student discount, military discount, and i get multiple car discount (i have a car, very expensive truck, and a bike).
my car type is in my sig.

The three letters you never want to hear as a car enthusiast
Have to pay the ticket for speed ($190) and the DUI school ($120).. and then reinstate my license ($25).. which gives me a B.P.O (Business Purpose Only) for 6 months.. and when the 6 months is over.. I have to pay more benjamins for my real license back.. GOD DAMN!!!! Over 5 beers too!! I wasnt even driving drunk.. he just smelled it on my breath.. and I blew a .18 on the scale.. DAMN THE BEER GODS!!

$2,000 a year full coverage. 1996 Honda Accord LX. The extra $1,000 a year is because I am a 19 y/o male. This is also under my mom's insurance. I live in Jersey I can image what it would be if i wasn't on her insurance. Plus I have 4 speeding points on the license.

I'm 22, I pay around $160 a month for full coverage under my parents insurance with Allstate. Thats with 2 tickets on my record here in Louisiana, 2 removed from my record by taking defensive driving classes, and 1 in another state (Texas).

oh mang! 5K /yr your nutz?? I dont know about CT, but I know for a fact that NJ has the nations highest rates. I have no clue who you have your insurance through.

Mines through Geico and its costing me 170/month. A friend of mine is paying less than a 100/month. I am thinking I need to shop around again.

What kind of car you driving, that play big role as to your rate

$5,000? Wow, that is a lot. My insurance is probably less than half of that, and I'm 17. I don't ask questions to my parents about the costs of insurance for my car.

One reason I got an Accord was because of low insurance, well, somewhat low. When my mom called our insurance company to see how much insurance would be for some cars, and for one of the newer Eclipses (2000+), it's around $4000 a year, and a Maxima, which I figured wouldn't have been that much because it's a 4 door, boy, was I wrong. My mom was told that Maximas are one of the most stolen cars, and the insurance was pretty high.

Holy **** are you serious $89/month for full coverage, i pay 170/month with comprehensive and liability only, thats only half coverage!! They wont pay out if i get in an accident for my car. i have a 90 coupe with 3 accidents on my record probably totalling around 8k that they've had to shell out, what ins comp do you have?
oh yeah btw, id pay about 300/month for full coverage, 3600/year
