this saturday i'm getting Ground Control Coilovers put on Koni Adjustable Shocks... first of all, i hear its a good setup for smooth long lasting ride, with all the goodies like better handling, etc... what do you guys think?
also, i want it to be smooth like the suspension is on STOCK, what settings should i use??? Thanks in advance~

I have ground controls on my car with tokico illuminas. The set up is awesome. I looked into the koni yellows, but adjusting the shocks means you have to jack the car up. With the illuminas, you just have to pop the hood and turn to the desired setting, and vice versa for the rear, just open the trunk. Ground controls are easier to adjust than skunk 2's if i recall.
I did that same exact setup on my 5G Lude, and to say that I love the results is an under statement. You'll notice a pretty good difference in all around response and cornering, at least I did. As for adjusting them, it's pretty easy and straight forward. Just try different settings until you find something you like or feel comfortable with. But all in all I can't say anything bad about the setup.
koni yellows are good with most springs. but i suggest you call koni up and ask them before you install anything. you might need adapter rings for your spring to sit on the coilover correctly. i hope yall research before you buy and install. we're talking about safety here.
i never heard any complaints. i know a guy with one, and those coilovers drops the car really low. they're made by eibach, they're a good company when it comes to springs. i think eibach/neuspeed springs are made by the same company. correct me if i'm wrong.
I put on Ground Control Coilovers on Koni Sport Shocks... I LOVE IT... my ride is ultra smooth, the coilovers are 400 front/ 300 rear, the springs that they send u is 375 front/ 275 rear, so mine are a just a lil bit stiffer, but the koni shocks provide bomb *** cushion...
Ground Control Coilovers use Eibach springs, so they are really good... Most people i know get Eibach springs,a nd if they get coilovers they pay a lil more and get the groundcontrols.... however i know almost as many people who get the Skunk2 coilovers, but Ground Controls are so much easier to use. I had Skunk2's on my 97 civic coupe, very bouncy, and sqeaks alot, I RECOMMEND GROND CONTROLS...

if your spending around $700 for suspension, i'd rather spend $200 more and get tein's and call it a day. you can't beat that. look at all the other setups and take a look at teins.
or if you're never going to adjust the ride height, get a set of neuspeed (eibach) springs (and maybe a good set of shocks). If you're never going to hit the track, this will improve your handling without costing a fortune
Tein has the best suspension setups available.
But they're damn expensive since they're from Japan.
Nice setups though!
