90 crx si with b16 AEM cai, dragon fire exhaust *(
whell i comming home from a party and i knew there was a long straitaway on the way. They i decided to try to top out my car cause its 3 am in the moring so i didnt think there would be anything on the road. So iam comming around on this bend before the strait away and i drop it in 2nd redline, 3rd redline and then when i was shifting into 4th i saw 3 cars on the side of the road. I had no chance of stopping and guess what it was 3 cops omfg. They clocked me going 93 in a 60. (352 dollars)
I also my insurance card had expired and i forgot to replace it with the new one the insurance company gave me.
(4xx dollars)
Whell the cops like all cool about it and he said they will send me the ticket in the mail. The ticket came out to 1082 dollars. omg iam fuked.
Anyone got any advice cause it would really be appreciated in any way like what i should tell to judge to reduce my fine. Iam stupid and i hate myself so anything would really help. Flame all u want lolz.

 

Get a lawyer. Plea guilty to a lesser charge.

 

if you have current insurance just show the judge your insurance card and they should drop that one....then just pay the speeding ticket....

in California the insurance card is no longer a sign off able thing.. automatic fine .... bend over.. but in other states i dunno... (i had one in cali for no insurance card.. / out of date one... )

It's not a sign off thing, but you can go see the judge and they will drop that charge because you really did have valid insurance. Nothing you can do about the speeding though.

 

no offense man but you're screwd on the speeding ticket. suck it up and take it like a man. learn that speeding on public roads is dumb and that to play you have to pay.
however the insurance card thing you should just go to court and try to show the judge you had the card and that it was dated before the ticket. if you act like you know you were stupid and act very humble then they should remove that ticket and give you just the speeding ticket.
however if they're trying to make a point... then you're screwd. sorry...

that fine is up there, to where it would be cost effective to get a lawyer..

also invest $200 to a radar detector, will save u in the long run (not that this wouldve really prevented this, but it works really good on highways that dont curve around everywhere)

 

Not sure that they do this where you are, but you might be able to go to agree to go to traffic school to get the points dropped and possibly the fine reduced. It costsl like $75 or something like that, but is worth it if you can get points removed. My friend got busted for 93 in a 65 (he's a moron) and got the fine reduced and it dropped from a 4 point to a 2 point ticket.

that sux dude. i just hate those piggies. i would definitely take it to court to at least give it a try. they'll probly waive the insurance thing if you have proof and they might lower the fine and points of the ticket (that is if you have a good driving record). good luck with that.

 

ok show your proof of insurance.It should drop or lower fine a lil. As for speeding if you have a good record bring it up. Or sell ur car to like a bro or relative and show the judge you sold it cause it was too much car for you or whatever. then buy car back from relative. At worst you pay the fine and you would have monthly payments on it. Probably not much like 30 bux monthly

 

ok what you will do is pack your **** and flee to Mexico!! No j/k, it sounds stupid, but Plea "not-guilty". After that a pre-trial will be set up and you will go have a visit with the prosecuting attorney and try to make a deal with him......... perhaps a driving school to lower the fine.... but whatever you do, just talk to a Prosecuting attorney and make a deal, and in trade the judge will take his word for it... Trust me on this one, and let me know what happens

 

Review the info on the ticket as well, I dont know if this is the case w/your state but if there is any false info on your ticket,(such as mistaking the year of your car for a 93 when its a 90) some courts will dismiss the ticket automatically. I highly suggest getting an attorney.

 

dang dude that sux. well i got a story to. tonight i was drivng my ef hatch home, i just finished dropping a stock d15 in there at my friends. i didnt have a hood, my windshield was busted all over the place, no insurance for the car or registration, one headlight, and exhaust disconnected at the downpipie.(bought the car with no cat or piping) so i pass this cop and he right away pulls me over. i get a ticket for defective windshield imparing view of driver, no insurance, and no registration. he was cool i guess and didnt get me for the exh, hood, or headlight. how much do you think this ticket will cost? i think ima try to fight it. cuz the car had to leave my friends house(he needed the garage) and i didnt want to leave it there so i needed to take it home. and the windshield i allready payed for a new one installed and everything 2 days ago. so i can show them that reciet. is there any way i could win?
