Default 98+ Front End conversion, Who's done it or knows about them

Ok, i searched and couldn't really find anything useful (thanks zeroforum! :crook, altought this has probally been covered several times, but i didn't get to participate in any of thoose threads so Im asking eveyone again.

I want to know everything thing you guys have to say about a 98+ front end conversion (i have a 96 GSR sedan). My goal is to put a 98+ front end on my integra with some sort of lip, aftermarket or OEM, and do a HID conversion.

How much can i expect to pay just to convert (if you know of any websites that sell them as a kit, links would be useful), what parts exactly are need, how long is the install, anything, pics are appreciated also. thanks in advance

Well i did it, but my car is still getting painted . All you need is 98- headlights and 98- front bumper. And a might as well get a type-r lip while your at it.

oh yeah i paid $500 for the headlights, front bumper, and rear bumper, and $160 for the type-r lip. And do you think i should get 98- rear lights? I kinda like the orange signals on the 94-97.

You'll also need the corner lights, as they arent interchangeable.

i would love a jdm front end but i cant justify spending over 3K for aesthic purposes alone

I haven't done it, but I don't think that it's "worth it". The 94-97 and 98+ front ends are similar enough that I can't see spending $500 in parts, plus paint and labor for the conversion. Why not just get an ITR lip, some orange corner lenses (if that is part of the look you are going for), and the HID kit that you have planned?

the only difference between the 2dr and 4dr is the rear bumper which aer not interchangeable.

i did the 98 conversion to my 97 integra. i paid 250 for my headlight in mint condition not a single scratch or nick. and my front and rear bumper for 300 with OEM fog lights. i think i got my moneys worth because their were painted exactly like my car and it very good condition. the only problem is that the guy used to have an oem kit in the back to it has two little hole for it. but that just makes me want to get the oem kit more.
and if its worth it? yes it is. i didn't really want to but once you did it you'll understand why. personally i think it even adds value to your car.
