I have a 1990 Accord LX, and I have the opportunity to buy the exhust manifold/header from a similar year EX Accord. Has anyone swapped one of these before? Will it fit OK? Do I need any other hardware?

yes you need to extend the o2 sensor wires though. I have mine for sale btw with stock cat attached.

 

You have what for sale? Your intake manifold? So it will bolt up no problem? WHat about where it attached to the exhaust? Is that part the same in LX an EX accords?

 

nope, the ex is 4-1 and the lx is 4-2-1

 

thats the whole point, to get a cheap 4-2-1 header. I actually am not sure if it bolts up to the exhaust with no problem, but I just figured it would. And I was talking about my header for sale, in case anyone else wanted it.

So do any of you know if the EX axhaust manifold will bolt up to my exhaust pipes etc? If I buy one, will it be a waste of money?

 

sad thing is i got both of them in my garage sittin there, i shoulda looked!
