um, thats how just about every car gets treated on the east coast. we have this funny thing called winter over here in the northeast, and thats what it leaves our cars looking like

some of us have no choice, my car is way dirtier than those two and its because its way too damn cold for me to wash it. my car is just a tiny bit too low to go through the automated brushless washes too, so im SOL until it gets warmer.

you're a dick.

i guess a powdered ******* from southern california would think everyone can garage their R and own a 2nd car. it's snow and dirt, it washes off.

I was just shocked to see icicles forming on most cars and that salt stuff that they put all over the road has gota be horrible for the undercarriage. If its a big deal I'll blur the license plate but if you have DMV access I'm sure you could pull the records anyways haha

*shrugs*...

I'll take a pic of my ITR later. Covered in a few inches of snow, sitting in front of my open and empty garage.

Its just a damn car d00d... hence why they make stuff to wash it.

This post is f*cked up. So what if their cars are parked on the street. Not all of us can afford houses with a garage. Me being one of them, and I've had two cars stolen because of it. Somebody cover those plates, won't be long before that car is gone.

I visit girlfriend, friends and family back east and I've never seen an ITR outside, I thought that most owners would keep them garaged or whatever but I saw this one and started laughing. I could never imagine having ice and snow forming on my ITR. I won't post the exact location because I don't want to have people go nuts but it was in Philly. Is this how all East Coast peeps treat their cars??
pretty much.. we don't all have the luxury of sunny and 75 degrees every day, nor do we all have a car we drive while we store the R for the winter.. do you drive yours in the rain? same deal.. just a little colder..

Edit: might be nice to edit the plates out of the pics.. another post is talking about a different guy in philly whose R just got stolen..

I've got a '01 1/2CW 1/2NBP ITR right now thanks to the oversalting of the roads. Don't worry...nobody's gonna go nuts seeing ice and snow forming on an ITR.

what should they do, take the city bus? not all of us have two cars, or only one season all year long

I guess you don't read too much,,, Haven't you seen all the posts about Rs getting stolen? And for that reason it should be a common curtisy to cover the plate when ever the opertunnity is possible.

And if we can't see the plate then what good would a DMV "hookup" do? Magically read the Vin Plate off of that picture???

(Spelling sucks...)

Hahaha

Chill

My intention was not to flame the owner of the car, nor to make fun of people who cant afford it. It was more of a East Coast slam.

I blurred the guys plate out as requested

No, and I maybe wrong but this car had been sitting out for quite some time, possibly days. If someone wants an ITR they are going to get an ITR, whether its blurred or not. I'm sure VIN #s specificy what a real ITR is so you could use a DMV computer to see where they are registered

I've seen NSX's parked on the street in the salt and snow... it's normal here in the northeast.

I've been lucky this winter, mine's been "in the shop"!

haha ... an expensive way to "store" the car for the winter.

This is what mine looked like when I first got to Cali a couple years ago.
I "collected" those bugs all the way from the East Coast.
