ok first part if my vtec was controlled by a micro switch atached to the throtle body and when i mashed the pedle and it tourned vtec on at wide open throttle is this a bad thing could i be loosing power becouse this is the case i am working with on my dx civic with a D16z6 motor whoever had the car before me did it this way and i was told i could be loosing tourqe and power is this posible?

second part i get a loud poping sound from my right front area whenever i brake excelerate and tourn hard it sounds like a rock comes up and htis the under side of the car any ideas? thanx for your input
