quick Q about raising your redline
a stock b18b redlines at 8900 right? anyway the torque usually drops about 700 before redline dramatically right?
so if you use a chipped ecu that raises the fuel curve and you raise the redline to lets say 9500 is the torque drop off still at ~8200?
i dont get the point of raising a rev limit on a stock fuel map
someone slap some sense into this f00
thanks

you could retard your timing so that you make some power at the top end. the point of raising the rev limit is so that you can take full advantage of the new cams you get. stock cams don't make much power after redline.
