Default somewhat major tune-up coming

Well I just ordered a LOAD of stuff from Carland Acura: dist. cap, rotor, valve cover and spark plug tube gaskets, cam end seal (redesigned plastic one), and I also stocked up on oil drain bolt crush washers. From NOPI I ordered NGK spark plug wires, and picked up some NGK copper plugs today. I should be installing all this stuff Thursday, along with adjusting my valve clearance. Most of this stuff has been put off since I bought the car (still running the original plug wires, cap, and rotor as far as I know, with 130K miles on them). I'm hoping after all this that I'll get a nice bump in gas mileage. Maybe not, but at least I'll know they're good to go for many more miles.

oh yeah, another thing is that any oil that I may be losing right now should be stopped, with all these new gaskets and seals on the top end (currently leaking by the cam plug, and also leaking some oil into the plug tubes onto the spark plugs).

Yes your car will run much better. Also, the cam seals are bad about leaking after many miles so you will probably get rid of some oil leaks you may have. Let us know how it runs.
