Default Fuel pump not priming, main relay is fine...help!

Hi, i did a 92 b18a swap in my 89 dx auto. I coverted from auto to stick, and i can crank the car freely. the main relay is fine, i have tested it with another relay and it did the same thing. I ran wires directly from the ECU to the injectors, and i havent done anything with the 2 injector plugs from the dx harness, they are just sitting there. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it. someone please help.

well, i had the fuel pump priming just a couple days ago when i used an incorrect SI harness, so i don't think it is the fuel pump...is there anyway to check the pump? thanks.

guess you could do this unplug the relay and jump the black/yellow and yellow black wire and see if it kicks on still. i know bad diagram but jump what I have labeled 1 & 2. Are you sure getting 12volts to the pump?? Also can test that. Jump the relay pins the same way and under the back seat there is a 5 pin connector test for voltage there with the ignition on. Per diagram use pins 4 and 5 which are black and yellow/black

well i had the same problem, i had spark but no fuel. what i did was directly wire the fuel pump to the battery. I thought that solved the problem but when i ran some tests i just founf out that i had bad ground so now i have a ground wire comming off the black wire for the fuel pump. i hope that helped.

Check grounds first! (bad grounds own me) After that check for 12V. If you are getting anything less your fuel pump wont work. Like all electric troubleshooting, make sure the equipment is working first. So do a ground check and 12V check first , and if both of those are o.k. then isolate the Pump and make sure it works with 12V applied. If you still cant figure it out let us know.

hold up that picture didnt work correctly. The 1 and 2 are suspose to be the two bottom pins on the right, and the other one was to be the 2 end plugs also the right. Apparenetly it will put everything to the furthest left un less you use symbols sorry for the confusion

Wow, sweet guys, thanks for all the replies. I will try to put 12v to the pump today. If one of the injector wires wasn't grounded or anything wasn't right with the injectors, would it cause the fuel pump not to turn on? Well, get back to me. Thanks guys. Im gonna go try that right now.

I am having the same problem, My fuel pump is not priming when I turn the key on, I replaced the fuel pump with a new one Deutchwerks DW200 and then I changed out my Main relay for a new one. and checked all my fuses they are all good. My car is a 93 civic VX with a B18C obd1. My next guess is to change out the ignition switch. But im confused because the starter kicks on just fine, but im not getting any fuel. Its weird I even drained and put new gas in my tank. Need help on diagnosing this seems like im throwing parts at it. Anyone help please.

I had the same issue on obd1 b18a1, mine was ecu problem. If you havnt already, i would see if you have a friend thatll let you swap ECUs to see if its the issue. I used a connection tester and my fuel pump would get power until i turned the key on, then it lost all power. Dont quote me because im no professional, thats just what fixed my issue.

So I fixed the problem, and it is because of the Honda enthusiast community.... what is left of us, and well, it was the ECU, I learned the hard way bought the main relay, then the fuel pump so i got deauchwerks, and then I bought a distributor, so lastly I finaly ordered some ECU from Ebay and well it worked, but now im throwing a code 22 .....bummer. but hey it runs!!!!!
