fuel filter fuel pressure correct?
i read in a magazine that gettin the fuel pressure off the fuel filter is a incorrect reading .. i ask because i have a fuel filter mounted gauge .. what do you guys think .. if you agree its incorrect can you make a estimation of how much it is off by.
sorry not about the fuel filter, i posted about an old civic or crx no motor, were u serious? can i come get one for pretty cheap cause i really need a body to start my project and this wouls help alot. please get back to me on my post. thanx -Gus
The best place to get an indication of fuel pressure is at the fuel rail. But for tuning purposes all you need is relative pressure changes. If your pressure guage read "X" at the fuel filter and you want to add or lose pressure then all you need is "X plus or minus."
Also something to consider, magazines are not our friends. They are in the businesss of promoting the products of their advertisers, and may not give you the cheapest/most effective method of solving a problem. Als beware of shops who may want to make a sale.
