88-91 Si rotors and calipers on 88-91 HF??
As stated.. I'm doing a brake upgrade and will be dispensing of my front rotors/calipers/pads. I've barely used the setup... powerslots/axxis MM and my dad said he would like them on his HF.
Is it a direct bolt-up? Also how much do you think one could sell this for? 88crx si powerslot rotors/calipers/Axxis MM pads.

Won't bolt up. You need to change the hub/knucle assembly and then you will also need to change the HF axles. Worthwhile mod though. I hate my HF brakes. Getting changed asap.
yes your going to have change the hubs because the si/dx knuckles are more larger then the hf ones. i just got si's on my hf because i put a b16 in my car and needed integra axles and they wouldnt fit stock hubs...so you have a couple of options to go with good luck
Hubs themself are only different on the inner shaft where the axles go. The rotors and calipers are the exact same thing. I have a STD and have DX calipers on STD rotors and it all bolts up. Its a straight bolt up. The only larger calipers from a civic 88-91 was the 90-91 Civic EX sedans. Search.....
*YES THEY WILL BOLT UP* you do NOT have to change the hubs/knuckles! i have an 88 HF with Si calipers and rotors on it with HF hubs (well one is HF the other Si). they are a direct bolt on...

If you can put an axle for a b16 into an si/dx hub but not the HF hub then how would the si stuff bolt right up to the HF? That's silly.... isn't it?
So... for the HF, I would need si rotor, hub/knuckle, si axles, calipers. WOW! That's no 45 minute job there!

we arent talking about a B16 swap here. the knuckle is the same, the hub in the middle is different. if you are doing a B-swap you need to swap hubs. any D-swap you dont! i have a DOHC ZC and Si tranny in my 88 HF, one side has HF axle and hub/knuckle the other side has a Si hub/knuckle assy.
you cant put a Si axles in HF hubs, we all know that im telling you to keep your stock axles and hubs the brake caliper and rotor will swap over from an Si...**** oyu can put HF caliper and rotor on an Si if you want....
