I have been told a few different ways to mount the slicks. Use inner tubes and then screw the tire to the rim. I have also been told it will be fine just to mount the slicks on the rim and there will be no problem.(bogart rims, mh racemaster slicks)

 

it depends how fast your going ? i was running 12's and never had tubes or screws,
if you got killer tourque and power and plan on going much faster then do the screws to eb safe.
