Default Tires Tires and a question about tires

Anyone else going to be excited to take the soft, mushy snow tires off and get some real tires back on their R?

These Blizzaks are softer than a sneaker full of poo on a hot day.

Has anyone ever tried the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KD's? I searched, but found nothing.

I can't wait to put my R wheels w/ Toyo T1-S on them back on the R this spring. However I can't wait for the soft side-walled T1-S to wear out (5000 miles or so) so that I can put actual good tires on the car like S0-3's or Azenis.

Larkin - who's R came w/ T1-S on it when he bought it in September

It s a little colder int he burbs of Boston where I am.

It would be sweet to have a sidewall the wouldn't bend under whne you lean against the side of the car

Getting sideways under braking is fun though!

I asked for good tires this year.. But nobody could answered my (this) question:

"What tires have a stiff sidewall, a good grip and are available in 215/40/15 ?"

Maybe I`ll try BF Goodrich too...
What sizes are you running ?

I`ve stored my ITR this winter. Better driving a cheap winter car.

I think I will be running 205/50 15's in the spring.

I would have loved to put my R in the garage for the winter, but the VW did not make it back together in time (read as it's motor is still in pieces).

I am going to be using my tires for track, autocross, and hill climbs hopefully.

HA. I'm still pimping the Azenis, yes even in light snow! (Slowly)

I just can't wait to heat them up on a few tracks this coming season.

I cant wait to put my RE010's back on! Although it is fun to take really hard corners in snow tires and make them break lose and sqeal a bit.

I just put on Kumho Esta 712's and they suck especially in the turns. My wife's CR-V handles better. Without a doubt I will replace them with REO10's.

Those are Dunlop D01J race tires similar to the Yoko/Advan 032R (of which I'm on my 3rd set).

I got these off of Rodney, for a real deal.
I don't believe they are DOT, or even widely available in the US.
