I remember seeing "Bolk's" wheels from "Roy's engineering" about 3 years ago, I was laughing so hard. The guy said he bought them in the Phillapines (sp?)

Riiiiiiiight...i think you missed the whole point in the thread while you were trying to be a hero for cheap rims. Like most of the people have said time and time again, knock offs are fine, i like the fact that companies make rims that look like the expensive counter parts in order to capitalize on the low budget guys that just want the look (though some do use it as function as well)...But in this case, you have a blatent attempt by a rim company to mislead the unknowing by putting "SPOOM" in the EXACT same lettering as "SPOON" uses...problem enlies there, thats where it becomes rediculous, and the fact that Spoon has their logo engraved into the rim...thats another big give away...

But anyways, these rims are a joke, and when some kid comes up to me some day and tries to sell me some authentic "SPOON" rims with that little SPOOM sticker on it...i think i might ram a FORK into his side.

Go to the website... www.wheelmax.com...click on Exel wheels and these are like the first 4 rims that are shown...$699 for a set! And thats a pretty damn good deal if you like having people laugh at you, could be a start in a career of comedy...otherwise, just laugh with the rest of us at a cheap rim companies attempt to rip off a legitimate performance company and take advantage of some ricers...(not that i mind the last part, makes for good conversation when you ask someone why they spelled spoon wrong on their rims... )
