Yeh after him not trusting me to drive the whtie ep he just bought for about 2 weeks.. I finally got my hands on it when only my mom was around (she is so nice).. but they are nice *** cars. except for it being slow.. Nice tourqe to them though.. The shifter and clutch feels so snappy god i love it, wish my crx was like that ha. Soon it will be my 14 year old bros car once he gets his license.. I caint wait to help him mod it.. Especially drop in a real k20 motor : ).. Later guys.. Just remember dont rice out yur EP.

yo i just drove my moms ep about 10 mins ago and its also brand new ( two weeks old.) it is smooth and has quality craftsmanship. other than that i think its ugly as **** and is slow as ****. i corner hard and go into a drift and the vtec hits extra weak. i dunno about the new ep. thats my $.02--peace

 

man i could've had an ep cept my grades weren't good enough..would've been NBP...oh well, now i have the loveley SOHC ex...sigh

 

those of you who drove it once and are complaining about power --- and that its "slow as ****" ----- try learning how to drive one before you blabber ignorant comments such as those... a stock 02-03 ep will smote a stock 99-00 si every time. Problem is the car drives WAY different -- no high revvin shifts -- keep it in the mid to high rpms and be sure to let the rpms drop about 1k while shifting and before pressing the gas again, if you do this, bam you have speed at your fingertips.

The older 99-00 SI's are faster stock for stock. Check the 1/4 mile times as well as track times.

over at ephatch.com people are walking 99-00 si's quite often --- never have run one myself...

 

Stock for stock i pulled 99-00s,and now with Hondata ive MURDERED a few stockers and hardly smote some modded ones.Not to shabby IMHO.
