i'm pretty sure the 1000 lbs springs i have in the rear will blow my kyb agx's, now my ? is do i send them to kyb and have them fix it to run cool with the 1000 lbs springs or do i just find a different shock company that will support the 1000 lbs springs?
can KYB AGX's even be revalved? aren't the top hats welded on? ...well anyways, to answer your question....i think you should get some Koni "yellow's" and have them revalved to handle your 1,000lb/in. spring rated springs...
that'll be your best bet...late

Yea, Revalved konis or even remote resevoir motons or Penskes are the only way to go with 1000# springs. KYB's will blow if matched with anythign stiffer than a normal drop spring. Everyone I know who has used KYB's with coilovers (even only 300#) has had them ALL blow.

Why do you need/want 1000# springs,? they will ride like crap.
Re-valved Koni's are going to be your most economical solution. Moton remote shocks cost near $1000 apeice. I wouldn't bother even trying to re-valve the AGX.
With 1000lb springs, I hope in-God's-name that you do not plan on using this car on the street! Sounds like fun though, I'm jealous.

im guessing these 1000lb. springs are only going in the rear anyway...aint no thang...i have friends who use 900~1000lb. springs and they're cars drive just fine.
im going to be doing the same soon....
