Heres a clip of me running in SM2. Had a rough first round, my car needs alot of suspension tuning still, this was my first time driving this car in an autox. Im close to dialing out all the oversteer, i spun my 2nd run out due to too much stiffness in the rear. Next time out ill be experimenting with tire pressures more.

Hey, I was there too...Ran SM-N (run 7)...it was great racing again after 10 yrs...Same here, I need better tires..cant run slicks on Novice class though but I'm getting Azenis soon, hopefully by next run. What car did you drive, I had the red EF hatch w/ CF hood...

 

I was in my red CRX Si, one of 3 red CRX Si's that ran in SM2 (group 8). I saw your car out there, its definitely beautiful, id be afraid to race it!

haha...probably saw me take one of the cones back to the grid on my first run...I was on 2nd gear all the way, only hit vtec a couple of times i think. Were you with the grey CRX turbo?

Yeah the gunmetal b16 turbo CRX is Sumo, hes not on the boards too much, his login is SUMOrex if u want to IM him. Car is super-duper fast, im sure he will give u a ride next time out if you ask him.

Its weird that you only were in vtec a few times, i was in it for the most part of the course, kept the car in 2nd the entire course too. What is your vtec set at? What cams/motor are u running?

Still need to suspension tweaking, but im sure we will all improve and show some of thos domestics a run for thier money....

Hey Sumo, I was checking out your ride last Sunday but you had to go (tech inspection)...Anyway, I'll be on the Feb.9 (Candlestick park) for sure and hopefully with my new suspension already installed along with new tires...I had to leave after my run to see the Raiders get beat...dang, I should have just stayed...til next time...**is it me, or something wrong with the video link?

 

I have CTR cams on my LSVtec motor (GSR head), and set Vtec to kick at 5500...I probably was too tense to even feel it kick in, hehe... but it seems that I'd be on vtec only for a couple of seconds, then I had to hit the brake and make the turn...
