Actually this transmission came out of a CRX SiR, which was only produced in canada, the motor was the b16a1, which is a DOHC Vtec with around 168 hp

[QUOTE]Man that is all wrong. There was a "b16a1" but its from the Euro VT and it is only rated at 150hp. But he's talking about the trans, which has already been answered.QUOTE]
the tranny out of the euro VT is labeled Y2

koo now i know the real deal, because i was gonna buy a gsr swap with the a1 tranny and he said it was a b16 tranny, but in the back of my head i was doubting it..now i have the answer, thanks alot people
you might not want to run a b16 tranny .. depends on what you plan to do with the motor .. if you want to go all motor then b16 tranny is great .. if you plan to go turbo or nitrous stay with the LS tranny .. i personally prefer the LS tranny .. i had a b16 tranny but i couldent take highway driving with it .the high rev is a killer .but at the same time it get up alot faster that a LS tranny.
