Default What can I do?

I have a 88' DX with a 93' b18a in it and I have a friend that does nothing but talk **** because he has a Dodge Neon RT with a 16g Turbo on it. He hates Honda, he dispises the fact that someone actually created such a great company. Anyway he talks **** about how slow my car is when he has never ridden in it. Next tuesday I will be doing a b16a Head swap but I know this isnt quiet the power I need to over take him. I have a S1 JDM b16a tranny and will be soon to have LS-vtec what more do you think I will need. Oh yea and he is running 6psi of boost.

If you convert to LS Vtec you willl own him. I had my ZC turbocharged running a 14.2 and I got owned by an LS Vtec (with no major mods) in an 88 CRX DX, he ran a 13.6

i have to agree with zc-crx, he will get owned serioulsy. The differences in weight should considerable, giving you a serious advantage, beside the torque and power you will have from a franky

atleast you have a good tranny.

i suggest grabbing yourself a dremmel, and being very carefull, gring out the valve reliefs on the pistons out 2mm, its not much...but it could save your ***...then you can throw some r cams in. and even tune it on stock pistons...

if u can afford it also, get a new itr oil pump, waterpump, timing belt...
and you must use 1.8L head bolts

LS Vtec will kill him. Your car is WAY lighter than he is.

i hear ls vtecs with stock compression put out about 155 to the wheels. there are neons around here that go 14.5 with custom turbo kits. your ls vtec should definitely hold its own again him. keep this in mind: your compression will only be about 10 to 1, so you could definitely hold a 75 shot for 1 ***** out pass.

I'd go with a LS/VTEC setup.

u could get a nos system and just hide it very well(put the bottle under the spare tire cover, run the lines behind everything)

i strongly suggest in an itr intake manifold....sell some blood, but get it, it should put you over the top...
do you have a header?

are you gonna grind the valve reliefs like i suggested, that way yoy dont have to worry about clearance issues.
