Today I tryed turning the car on and had trouble turing the key. It was hard to turn the key foward. I had to wiggle the key for 5 min. Do you think i have to replace the ignition switch? or does it have somekind of lock switch? Also is it hard to replace? Any diagram on how to replace it? Thanks in advance for you help...

 

try wiggling the shifter in park or put it in Neutral, then try to start it.

is it the stock key? i had a hardware store copy a key for me but the new one wasn't long enough so it couldn't clear the detent. if the stock key works, that was your problem. -josh

 

probably not the key. read that thread, it is probably what theyre describing.
