I have a 99 B18C1 motor and tranny in my 92 VX Civic hatch running a 95 OBD1 P72 ECU. Basically I'm wanting to boost the motor with an out of the box kit: Drag III, Rev Hard, Greddy, etc. I need some good advice on turboing the GSR motor from anyone because I don't have any experience with boost. I can't sacrifice everyday drivability and I'm not in an area where I can dyno tune the setup on a regular basis. A lot of DIY tuning will have to suffice until I could make it to a dyno. Any advice would be great for a boost newbie.

Try a search in the Forced Induction forum. The members in there helped me out a lot.

 

stick to 7psi and don't go crazy all the time and you'll be alright. get it resleeved and some forged internals when you get more money.

 

The b18c1 is great for boosting, and all the posts so far have been dead on.
