Just came in today from ups with some toyos on them, heres what they look like

they look alot better then the slipstreams becuase they are really really flat black,and yes the sticker can come off but it really doesnt bother me, they are from a company called speedy http://www.speedywheels.com

do they weigh?

 

do they cost......etc..

 

is it jus me or do the spokes look a little thinner

 

i had a pair of those before, they are really nice if you spray is again with flat black

to bad they dont look like spoon wheels at all

slipstreams weigh 11.8 pounds and look way better you ripped your self off trying to be somewhat original but if your happy with them thats cool

 

ugh....speedys are crap....those idiots made them in 17s

 

I remember seeing those wheels about two years ago. Never really cought my eye. Only rota wheels I like are the C8's. I only saw one version which was the gunmetal with polished lip that I liked and so far I think that was custom made.

 

Ya Ive seen the speedys in person and they look alright but if you wanted a fake knock off then you shold of went the way of rota. As long as your happy then props to you and your new rims. Watch out for POT HOLES!

 

I was gonna get the speedys, but opted for the rotas instead. Sorry, but for a knockoff, the cheaper/lighter rotas look much better. And speedy is a pretty cheezy name if u ask me.

 

They look like the 16" sw388 in the center, hope you didnt get 15".

 

jesus first off who said i was trying to get spoon knockoff's, yes they look like spoons and to the person that said they didnt then i dont know what rim your looking at,second maybe i wanted to be a tad different and get something besides rota, just because a rim doesnt cost $500 per rim doesnt mean they are bad, i got them in 16" and they look nice

i like the rim for what it is! if i wanted spoons i would of got spoons! in all honesty this site by far is way to harsh on other people rides and so on. It's a shame because if it isnt jdm it isnt right in this forum.

 

You have to understand, Spoon is a very respected company, they make excellent parts and design them extremly well, of course their products are pricey, but you get what you paid for. Now look at these speedy wheels, they have yellow and red stickers on them, they are a total knock off, weight more and yet claim to be like spoon's; now you take everything that this fourm represents, true honda enthuists, education and performance and turn it into america cheap money making products, yes, we will hate...

 

I wasn't trying to be mean or anything. If you like your rims then that's great, I kinda like them myself. You should ride around on whatever you want because you are the one who has to ride on it. The rims look good to me. So sorry if my tone sounded mean, it wasn't meant to be.

 

k well you guys need to start hating on rotas.... i really see no difference in rotas vs the speedys expect for the weight. I think it would be ricey if i removed the stickers and try to pass them off as something they are not which I dont plan on doing. Rota and these Speedy wheels are exactly the same, knock off's. The rotas do weigh less but I would rather sacrafice 2lb's a rim and have something a little more different then the rotas. Actually dont the rotas have nothing on them to indicate that they are rotas? If Speedy really wanted to knock off on the spoons they wouldnt of added there logo or center caps. These arent pos american wheels actually speedy wheels are located in Australia along with the USA. Im not trying to argue these wheels against spoons but I think it's really funny trying to say one knock off is better then the other and btw I do believe im more original then the million people sporting rotas.

 

and i put money that you'll take off the centercap and sticker... no offense.

rotas copy looks a lot better then that.......and you can just spray paint them flat black.........ither way they both are immitations

If you bought them and you're happy with the wheels that's all that matters. I think they look better than slipstreams too.

Don't worry if people don't agree with your choice. It's your hard earned money, spend it anyway you like.
