i was coming home from lunch off of azusa (hacienda, tokyo lobby)... saw a black Ls, bronze rims, tinted windows, exhaust.. the later on the freeway u were pulled off to the right shoulder.. with a smashed in front end and a blue SUV parked in front of ya.. Ouch.. just wanted to know if u are okay.. the freeway was crazy today.. i hate all that stupid traffic.. the drivers are even worse..

 

Haha, there was that sewage spill over here too.

Since we're talking about local stories, I saw a 94+ teg on the 91fwy near Avalon in the breakdown lane.. and the carbonfiber (or maybe fiberglass) hood was smashed up against windshield.. ouch.

 

Not to get off track or anything, but I think I saw you at California Adventure on December 29th...just in front of the ferris wheel.

You were wearing a zippie hoodie and some black Puma's.

Every time I looked at you, I kept getting this weird feeling that I'd seen you before. Didn't quite firgure it out until just now....I think.

Anyways, just trying to get this mystery off my mind.

tokyo lobby has reall cheap lunch specials.. for like $5.... u get chicken tempura and two tenpura shrimps... a lil salad, soup and rice

 

ot: tokyo lobby is pretty good. there is a new place near garvey and atlantic. Don't remember the name but $6 nets you soup, tery chicken or beef/ and another side of 6 cali rolls/tempura/etc. + rice

 

if you guys like sushi you gotta go to the Benihana in Industry (on Gale btwn Fullerton & Azusa) they have $1 and $1.50 sushi lunch specials... california rolls/catch of the day are $1 each and stuff like sake/unagi are $1.50 each. Only for lunch though.

 

Thanks for the info, I'll have to go check that out. Only been to Benihana's once, didn't have their sushi though.

Any other good sushi in/near DB? Only places I know of are in south OC.

 

sushi kamon on colima (btwn fullerton and azusa) isn't bad... i went to high school with the owners' kid... in Irvine there's one called Taiko... off of the 5 and Jeffrey (at Walnut) that's all I know... there's one on Lemon and Colima called Jubei (where it turns into Golden Springs) hope this helps
