just as the topic asks. I heard usm b18 and b16 work, but i'd just like to confirm. thanx. and changing the belt, can it be done on your own or best to bring it to a shop and have it done?

 

so easy to do by yourself... just pull off the belt and compare it ones on the shelf at the autoparts store, then keep the part #

 

I used a Del Sol vtec belt.

OEM is the best. I used a 94 belt, but I'm sure any 94-97 or 99-00 Si alternator belt will work.

90-93 ls integra, or gsr. Either one works

 

i was looking at parts numbers for the belts....93 gsr and 95 del sol vtec are the same....the 2000 si is close. but then i looked at length. the 2000 si is an inch shorter. is that a big difference?

I used a 99-00 Civic Si belt.

 

use the 99-00 si its shorter so it will help with alternator clearance.
