How much do you think a CRX winsheld would cost me? And where can I get it from?

 

....look in the yellow pages and there should be plenty of places. I recently had mine replaced and it was about $250 but if you can find one of those mobile, they come to you, places it's cheaper. My neighbor had his done by a mobile place and his was about $180 so......

 

Call every place in the yellow pages.
Prices vary a lot from place to place. Price also depends on whether or not you get new factory type molding and the top tinted band. I had one replaced and they used a generic rubber molding which looks very nice, but lets water by and it gets inside the car if the windows are open. I miss the rain gutters built into the fact. windshiled molding.
I paid $145 for mine on a 90 CRX

 

....$145? Man was I raped . I thought Floridians got windsheilds replaced for free or something.

 

the molding is what costs a lot. our glass place at my dealership will only use honda moldings cause the aftermarket ones fit like ****
anyways part# for molding is 73150-sh2-024 $73.82

 

i paid $200 for a PPG windshield and it included installation.

 

i paid 195.95 for mine about 2.5 years ago...

 

i bought my car with a cracked winshield...waited a few months...then reported it and insurance forked over the money
