i'd say a few autox events, but not drag racing.
the mods are mild, and more so for traction / braking isntead of power.
who can blame him, its an ITR.. it would be stupid to not take it on the track.

it's hard to know what R's are going for nowadays, but i think his price is a bit high. many 00-01 R's with similar miles are going for $17.5-18.5 so i would guess he won't get above $18k. good luck to him!

who cares what they go for, you said MANY 00-01 ITRs with similar mileage are going for 17.5-18.5.. where?! i want to buy one.
