Who here uses the boost solenoid for the AEM???
Like it say's who here uses it. Were thinking of trying it out on my brothers Prelude and wanna get some feedback begore doing so. Mainly, how was it trying to adjust the boost settings?

i have it hooked up. dont use it. stock spring gives me 8psi ..thats all i want...actually i only want 5... tryiing to lower boost 1st so then i can use the solenoid.

how much boost do you guys run?
Is there a way to get the AEM to fully control boost?
That would probably reaquire a very light spring on the wastegate....something like 3-5 pounds.

I have it in, but havent played with it yet. If you look on the ems forum you can find a pretty good post on it with a complete run down of his settings. I believe he had a gsr setup running a 15 psi spring----you should be able to search and find it.

I should be putting it in this weekend so ill let you guys know how it goes. I have a 6.5 psi spring and im gonna set it up versus vehicle speed for traction. Probably 7 in 1st gear since i already have no traction going up to 9 or 10 in the higher gears. Im not totaly sure i want to up the boost before the semesters over just incase I break something but well see.

we are using it. its really simple to use for basic boost control, but if you want to use the more complex options it can take a while to setup. we have a 1bar spring in the wg and for low boost we just run off the spring. we have a switch hooked up with the methanol nad when we hit the switch it turns on the methanol, switches to the nitrous maps and ups the boost... good stuff

no i dont. as far as i know we are the only ones in nc, i havent heard of anyin va. we have a few customers that do make the trip from sc and va for us to tune their car. pm me if you are interested
