Went to the track with the untuned cams.....
As you guys know I only put down 173whp with my skunk II stage ones. Well I went to the track Sat just to see what it would do. I wasn't able to hook up and could only pull a 2.2 60' and was spinning a tad in second gear but I managed a best of 13.9@100.8mph. That is my fastest trap so far. That makes me wonder what I'm gonna trap if I can tune 10 more whp out of these things.

So untuned they aren't really doing anything yet then?
I wish I could go to your track haha. Man you pull some good times there, everyone gets slow times messed up trap speeds at my track.

Well with a 2.2 60foot he should get better times if he does his normal 60 foot times..

I didn't say he'd trap at higher MPH, just that with his normal 60 foot times he'd probably beat his 13.7 run with the stock cams.

Why would anybody run there car to the fullest with out tuning? Don't care how long your motor lasts or something?
-Dave, who sees no problem strapping a T04 to a B18C and just running it at 20psi

Why would anybody run there car to the fullest with out tuning? Don't care how long your motor lasts or something?
Oh and my trap speeds usually go up with a better 60' because I launch really high. Its not like I get better 60's because I'm bogging the car down. If I can pull a 2.0-2.1 60' by launching at 7,000rpms thats just more time for me to be accelerating instead of spinning. Generally speaking though you are correct.

When I said untuned I meant not tuned to the fullest potential. I hit the dyno but all I had to mess with was cam gears.
Oh and my trap speeds usually go up with a better 60' because I launch really high. Its not like I get better 60's because I'm bogging the car down. Well remember you said that it spins the tires like crazy now down low even, you have more power and its gonna be hard to put down, also for some reason your dyno showed you make crazy low to mid end power and took your peak whp and torque down by a good amount, this will make it harder to launch...but you did tune for midrange so you got it, lol

Try like 20 psi or around there, should be better....damn man you still ran a high 13 with like a stock 2.2 60ft....get it back to your average 2.0-2.1 and your a mid 13 untuned

I think my ITR motor came out of a 00 PY then
