I was interested in doing this to my front turn sigs and i was curious as to what spray i should buy? i found some at summit racing and it seems like its ok but i need something that can stand up to crap-*** salty roads that we have up here in NY. But then again..it is spray on... thanks in advance.

I used smoke tint spray for models and it turned out really nice.

 

good to hear. did you have to put any clear coating on after the spray?

 

I didn't and it turned out really good.

these have become new trend on ebay i have seen, check out there, they sell them for like 20 bucks prepainted

 

doesn't look like much of a trend to me. i checked out ebay and i found one set of lenses, and they didn't even have a picture..haha. and it made me think; i kind of want to have the satisfaction of being like "yeah, i did that" if people throw a compliment.
