We were out trying to get the Autometer A/F Gauge working all freaking day and nothing.. finally we gave up and gave is some extra gas running the AFC Hack. At like 5k rpms all the sudden an AF ratio appears out of no where around where the rich/stoich meet.. i'm sure we're not running that rich.. or that lean to be off the gauge.. anyone else run into this problem? We used a Bosch replacement o2 sensor..

 

those things arent accurate. dont even look at it after idle

 

i guess.. i need some way to put a temporary tune on it though.. any suggestions? i usually use the A/F.. thing doesn't even work at idle! no reading at all.

 

yea my sugestion is dont look at it. Its a light show honestly.

 

aight.. i knew they were inaccurate but i thought it'd at least show something! what's a quick way to get some sort of tuning mechanism? I'm gonna go DIY WB soon, but i need something to make sure i'm not running lean in the meantime...

 

WB o2 time. Don't forget the EGT's either. If you're going to street tune get the proper tools.
