ZC block with SOHC Vtec head

ZC block with SOHC Vtec head

Is there any benifit to putting a SOHC VTEC head on a DOHC ZC block? I'm in the mood to Frankenstein some stuff in my garage.

if they bolt up i'd say no, unless the swap yields higher compression then you may push something like 135

I think this has been discussed before. I don't think they will bolt together. But I may be wrong.

They will definitly not bolt up without modification, I cant remember though if you could drill something out so that there would be clearance. I want to say that it wasn't possible but I'm not for sure.
